San Francisco In-N-Out Temporarily Closed for Not Requiring Proof of Vaccination

October 20, 2021

Last week, the San Francisco Department of Public Health temporarily shut down the city’s In-n-Out location after employees failed to ask customers for proof of vaccination — a requirement for indoor dining in San Francisco.

The restaurant has since re-opened without the option of indoor dining.

In-n-Out chief legal and business officer Arnie Wensinger made the following statement: “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant Associates to segregate Customers into those who may be served and those who may not.”

What else is each side focusing on?
  • Mandating vaccinations to participate in unnecessary indoor activities saves lives.
  • The Delta variant can make even vaccinated people sick, especially if their immune systems are weak.
  • Mandating vaccinations for everyday activities is a massive government overstep.
  • If the vaccines work, vaccinated people shouldn’t care about whether those around them are vaccinated.
The Narrative

In-N-Out is bragging about its failure to take simple steps to protect the health of its customers.

In-N-Out is bravely taking a stand against an unjust government policy.

How could a reasonable person come to think this?

What else is the left focusing on?

What else is the right focusing on?

  • Mandating vaccinations for everyday activities is a massive government overstep.
  • If the vaccines work, vaccinated people shouldn’t care about whether those around them are vaccinated.
