The Narratives Project accepts opinion pieces for publication on our blog. Please read the guidelines below prior to submission.

Content guidelines

Written submissions should be 600-1000 words, but high quality pieces which are shorter or longer will also be considered. We accept submissions in all mediums, such as video or audio. Please do not submit content that has been published by another organization or media outlet without their permission.

These posts should be related to the Narratives Project’s key pillars of pluralism, understanding, and peace. Most blogs will be in line with our approach. 

Please hyperlink to source material when referencing a quote, research, or article in your post. Submissions will be edited for grammar, clarity, and style.

How to submit

Email completed drafts to anna@narrativesproject.com with the subject line “Guest Submission.” Please send written submissions as a Google Docs link with editing privileges enabled.

In your email, include a brief bio and professional picture. This can be a description of your professional or personal background related to the content of your piece, as well as any other context you feel is relevant.

Our editor will typically review all submissions within two business days of receiving them. If you do not hear back within two business days, feel free to follow up or submit the piece elsewhere.
